I’ve managed to make it out to the river (1/2 mile away) every other day now to document the water levels and to collect samples. The water level has dropped by 5-6 feet since it crested, judging by my unprofessional eye. A few roads are still closed, the parks along the river are still under water. Here are a few photos for comparison sake and a few of my art project. I wish the photos were of better quality but it’s what I got right now. Click on the photos to get a better look.

Post Office rejected my card because I wrote the address "the wrong way," however, they managed to run it through the machine just fine. What's the point of this rule?
